Before you do anything else, you could maybe take a look at THIS

There are some people who will look at that and immediately leap for joy in the belief that what is being explained is true, and that this is all about to happen exactly as indicated. Others will simply scoff at such claims, proclaiming them to be just one more example of mystical and spiritualised BS.

It sounds wonderful, but I am going to explain to you here what the problem is. But I am not going to say that it isn't true, not in essence. That is not the issue at all. What he is saying there may be entirely correct, at least from a certain point of view, in that the potential 'transformational' event being described really is possible. Another entire state really is available to the average person, this is precisely what 2EQ means. It is even possible that it might be made broadly available to many people for the first time, but not currently. Not in the form being indicated there. At present that simply isn't available, and not because I am doubting the claim. It is not available because making it accessible in that widespread sense is only something that will occur once it has been sufficiently understood at a collective level.

Is this essential understanding available at this point? No. So what does this mean? It means that the possibility being indicated is entirely real, but that it remains very unlikely that it is going to be broadly delivered in the sense being indicated there.

Our task here will be to remedy this issue, by first of all explaining what is missing, and by then providing it.

In the simplest terms, if you don't grasp this entire possibility in the correct terms, then -

First of all you won't be able to facilitate that transition on any reliable or cascading basis.
Secondly you won't be able to appropriately explain it, even if you do manage it occasionally.

This is what changes when you plug in this missing piece. The moment the true problem is defined, only then will we be able to offer the true solution - one that is not only able to reliably facilitate that shift in people, but also reliably explain what it all means without any need to leap to all manner of spiritualism or mystical jargon.

The entire thing has been viewed upside down in a sense. What has previously been viewed as a gain was actually a loss. You do not 'get' something in this shift, you 'lose' something that is currently present in most people, but that has never been clearly identified. People don't even know it is there, so they have no way to conceive of what it might be like to lose it.

The true explanation will immediately cascade in the sense being indicated, that is the difference. That's what not having this critical anatomy means - it means hit and miss at best. It will never be reliable until a very firm grasp is gained regarding the underlying universal anatomy associated. But the moment you add that, suddenly you get the possibility of a spiralling event that is also fully explained in rational empirical terms, thus laying the firm foundations of an enlightened rational culture.

We are going to need new terms in order to account for new phenomena. There is a need for a deep paradigm shift.

Actually it is not the attainment of anything - it is the relinquishment of something. In particular, it is the final unraveling of a vast body of internal activity, which is why the aim is always stillness. It is not as if stillness is an attainment after all, even a rock can do that. But in this instance stillness is just what happens to remain once we stop 'achieving' this other thing that has been running non-stop in the background for our entire lives.

To be clear, however, the activity that is removed in this instance is not only in the mind. It may not even be active at all, at least not necessarily. It might merely be an imbalance, or a blockage.

The target of this relinquishment is a sprawling complex of subversive motivation and disruption that all has a singular function at its root. It is intended to be very stable, very dynamic, and very powerful - but most especially it is almost impossible to see. And this is not surprising after all, given that concealment is its very purpose for existing.

The point being - if you don't have a very clear definition of its overall nature and functioning then rooting it out can be very difficult indeed. I am tempted to say impossible, at least in any broadly accessible sense. And this is why I doubt the claim in the message above. I think that is entirely possible, but unless they have somehow stumbled upon this missing framework - and in the process completely inverted their basic worldview - then actually achieving that seems unlikely.

Might it be possible to achieve this transition without the correct understanding associated? Maybe, but not in any truly stable or upwardly spiralling way. It seems unlikely, as I say.

The important functional framework, and the necessary terms in which it must be rendered, really only fit within a broader context of scientific thinking about the nature of things. It fits easily with evolution, and requires no mysticism at all. And this is fortunate. Many people will resist spiritual mumbo jumbo, and rightly so. But they will not be so resistant to a scientific claim that has a very high efficacy rate.

What is 2EQ saying? Can we put it in a nutshell?

Consciousness remains something of an enigma. But certain things can already be known with some degree of certainty. It implies or involves various types of illusion, such as the sense of separate self, and also involves what seems to be an intentional capacity to experience both joy and pain. And whether or not this 'experience' turns out to be real, it is at least supposed to feel real, and by no accident it seems. Consciousness, whatever it turns out to be ultimately, in our case appears to emerge as part of a far wider process of activity that is geared around navigating our way - as complex organisms - through a complex and shifting environment.

So far so good. But where we see the issue arising. A functional crisis has emerged, an inevitable one in a sense, but one that has also resulted in the uniform generation of a secondary body of activity within the human motivational core - a program running alongside our main program, one that has a very defined purpose and structure, and that is also intrinsically concealed from view.

Think of all those stories about a secret government within the government, or conspiracy theories about some covert elite who surreptitiously control everything. And the same is largely true about our fears that AI will go crazy and want to kill everyone. This is all just autobiographical gossip. These are things going on within us, not out there in the world somewhere. Is juicy that all this activity is concealed, and so to whatever degree we still sense it at all, we tend to project it outwards.

In particular, this activity is a secondary response - it is a covering up, and breaking apart, a hiding away. The true event at the root of all this trouble is rarely experienced directly, that is how we know this covert agenda is working.

So what is that core event? For most people this is now latent, like a dormant volcano, but in ors original raw form it makes for quite a show. What we see is that the emergence of 'self' as a point of reference becomes embedded as a felt reality within aspects of our complex navigational systems that are actually just simulations, thereby leading to a functional loop the moment the imminent reality of death is presented to the system. The result of this is that it sets up an explosive potential for emotional deadlock, existential fear essentially, which - in order to keep functioning in any kind of normal way, with a positive internal experience of life - then demands the emergence of a convoluted process of containment and management that is charged with the perpetual avoidance of this particular 'catastrophic' outcome.

The mechanisms this secondary body of activity can employ in this regard are many and varied, as defined by the complex anatomy of the system associated, and this variation accounts for the vast disparity in apparent motivations and psychological styles we see in people.

The result of this is what we would generally call 'typical humanity', and the world we see today - a situation that is actually being defined not by one psychological agenda, but two. First of all there is the base program, so to speak. At that level we are advanced primates, and display all the associated motivational characteristics. But then there is this added activity, with its singular purpose being expressed in countless different ways, and in countless different situations.

The purpose of this activity is not intrinsically harmful, but due to the integrity of the system it is subverting, the inevitable result is that it must be. The result is a very deep and perplexing process of perpetual struggle and limitation, a dynamic and shifting wrestle, and all of this below the level of conscious awareness.

Several things stand out here as being important. Firstly, this added activity represents a powerful explanation for typical human psychology and behaviour, in the process resolving many previously enigmatic mysteries. But most importantly that we didn't know it was there (not as a separate and distinct added event) and especially that it might be removed and undone under certain (currently rare) circumstances.

Does this fit what we see? It seems to. It explains in great detail the typical messy conflict that is the common emotional life. It explains the rule in this sense, the typical person, in the process redefining that as being not quite what we imagined, and in particular that there was something that we missed.

On the other hand it also explains the rare exception, here we see the arising of another psychological state, and what appears to be a completely different motivational framework.

What 2EQ is basically proposing, is that the removal of this sprawling and previously unnoticed body of subversive activity, in the singular and unequivocal manner the theory predicts, is what has historically been named 'spiritual enlightenment'. And if this is true then it means that this state is both entirely real, but also that it has been very dramatically misrepresented over time.

Beyond that, however, it also means - based on this emerging anatomy - that 'spiritual enlightenment' might actually be able to be made reliably accessible to all people over time, once the dynamics associated have been sufficiently penetrated by at least a few people smart enough.

More importantly, and assuming for a moment that this is broadly correct, the implications of what this actually means should not be overlooked. It will need to have a new name to reflect the new understanding of what it actually is. And what it actually happens to be is far more practical than it is spiritual. It is a functional scientific reality, not a musical or religious state. And the practical implications, both for individual happiness as well as the collective as a whole, could be far more dramatic than previously understood.

Finally, what this emerging framework does very clearly is place all of this within the reach of just a small and dedicated few. The nature of the situation means that the essential anatomy required to undo all of this trouble in the individual (with collective support) was merely concealed, not difficult, and that exposure might therefore happen very rapidly. This paradigm basically exposes something that nobody even knew was there, at least not in these terms.

This is the essence of 'capture' perhaps, as we might define it here, which is the moment you truly grasp what all of this means for the first time. You can see a post about this here. It is all about the scale of the event being indicated, and how near it all is to being unleashed, and in a way that will be essentially unstoppable right from the start.

Unfortunately, the particular strengths associated also happen to be rare - a capacity to confront and overcome this activity within yourself is obviously essential. A combination of very high intelligence, high self reflection, high baseline honesty, high emotional strength, high independence … all rolled into one. Not everyone is ready to go upstream in this sense, into the very deep jungle.

Here we begin to see the burden associated, and the true cost of such a big collective leap - all of this was not hidden in the light. It would have been discovered centuries ago if that was the case.
It was all hidden in the darkest corner, where nobody ever goes.

So this will be the true cost here, if what has been suggested above really is going to occur as defined. The true nature of the situation is going to need to be explored and explained. Just a few people need to go there into the dark in order to make the light available to all.

You would certainly be wasting your time reading any of the big books prior to doing that. They will all just go straight over your head in that case.

In the meantime there is really only one thing we need to be focused on here, which is to prepare the way for a far bigger event when the applications arrive rather suddenly at some point. With this in mind this website is just kind of a placeholder at this early stage, a blank slate, an empty stage upon which all manner of things might emerge over time. The show has yet to begin, and only you can say what it will become in that regard. Feel free to login and have your say.

Several books can also be found here in print copy and eBook formats. But as I say, if you have not already read the INVITE then you will basically be wasting your time with all of that. The books will be like locks with no keys. These books are in most cases also only early unedited manuscripts, and will no doubt be significantly tidied up before long, so if you want to get one in its original raw state then now would be the time.

Overall, the purpose of this website is not to broadly promote the paradigm associated - it is simply not that sort of thing. This is not a social movement, it is not a club to belong to, it is not even a philosophy to adopt. There is nothing to believe here.

Only a few will need to know all of this in order to make the insights available in practical form to everyone. And yet, those few will indeed need to know, and with that in mind we are doing everything we can here to prepare the way for them.

Please be aware, however - and as we have hopefully already indicated here throughout - that some people are always going to find the subject matter more than a little challenging, in which case some sort of negative reaction can be expected. Apart from anything else 2EQ is a very fierce mirror, and some people simply don't like that sort of thing.

With all of this in mind, it might eventually be necessary to approve all posts - leaving them in a moderation queue by default. That would be regrettable, but I suppose we will find out before long. We will start by leaving the General Forum open and see how it goes.
